This is a basic project of the ISÖ – Institute for Social Ecology, which the managing director successfully defended as a habilitation thesis at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the University of Hamburg (Venia: Sociology) in February 2008. With this project the attempt was undertaken, which in the work “community in society. Sociology according to Hegel and Parsons “(2nd ed., VS Verlag 2006) developed holistic social theory in the domain of value formation in modern societies. Last but not least, the research work should help to fund the socio-political innovation discourses (basic income, education, voluntary commitment, etc.), which have been launched by the ISÖ since 1987.
