Evaluations and impact analyzes
The evaluation concept of the ISÖ includes an activating accompaniment of model projects and social innovations. Thus, development impulses are planned on four levels:
- By consulting model locations
- By organizing the exchange of experience
- Through the evaluation in the narrower sense and
- Through public relations work for the model program.
An evaluation means the review and assessment of relevant contexts based on a systematic collection of criteria, based on a set of standards. Evaluations can be carried out before, during and after a process with the steps ‘input-output-outcome-impact’. An effect analysis is useful if a target value was set at the beginning, which can be checked after the end of the process. This enables a quality assurance and gives impulses for a learning process.
The ISÖ carries out evaluations as independent projects and always within the framework of the projects it supervises. To this end, feedback loops are integrated for the evaluation accompanying the process, including participation, in order to be able to adapt subsequent phases. This will cause project result which fulfills the wishes and requirements of the client and increases the integration into the daily handling of organizations and thus the further processing of the project results. From a long-term perspective, the goal is to produce social impact.
