Morphological Matrix

The morphological matrix is often used in future research and has been developed as a systematic-analytical creativity technique. The first step is the definition of key factors whose expressions / hypotheses are entered into a matrix. The combination of key factors and expressions yields the morphological field and possible cross-consistency assessment (CCA) scenarios. This makes possible to analysis difficultly quantifiable and multidimensional problems.

The ISÖ has recognized the potential of this transparent and systematic analysis for the scenario generation and successfully implemented it. A great advantage is the creative side of this method, which has proved very successful in future workshops.
